PE Health – Fixed term, Part time

Te Puna Wai o Waipapa – Hagley College is seeking a PE/Health Kaiako who loves working with young people and can develop positive, mana-enhancing relationships with ākonga, whānau, and staff.

We require a fixed term, full-time teacher who is always looking to improve their practice. If you are a future focused and innovative kaiako, come and join our PE/Health Department from Term 1, 2023 until 27 January 2024.

Te Pito o te Puna Wai o Waipapa is a culturally and linguistically diverse, child centred and whānau orientated pre-school. All kaiako are qualified and have a clear commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We promote a strong whānau atmosphere, and we are committed to delivering a responsive curriculum that caters for the uniqueness of each tamaiti. Promoting positive wellbeing for both tamariki and kaiako is a focus of the pre-school.

The Director will undertake direct accountability for the performance of the preschool, including finance, legislative compliance, team leadership, staff management, whānau relationships and administration. The Director is supported by the Preschool
Trust Board and an administrator. This innovative, personable and efficient Director will lead our preschool into an exciting future.

Te Pito o te Puna Wai o Waipapa is located in central Ōtautahi, Christchurch on the same site as Te Puna Wai o Waipapa – Hagley College, and belongs to the Te Taura Here o Ōtautahi Kahui Ako.
