Science Learning Leader

Permanent, full-time from Term 1, 2020 – 2 MU [Management Units]

We are seeking a flexible, innovative Science leader to lead the design of the Years 9-11 future focused Science curriculum and the integration of learning both within Science and across other learning areas.

Please state other teaching subjects.

Our college is situated in the centre of Christchurch and draws students from diverse backgrounds, ethnic groupings, age and learning abilities.

The teacher must be qualified and hold a current NZ registration and familiar with the NZ curriculum.

Art Teacher

Permanent, full time from Term 1, 2020

We are a thriving secondary college in the centre of Christchurch city. As we move forward with curriculum review and the redevelopment of our school, we are looking for an Art teacher who brings an integrated approach to the teaching of Art, and is keen to promote collaboration across learning areas..

We require an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of Art to join our Art Department for 2020. Applicants are required to be familiar with the New Zealand Curriculum, NCEA and have a current practising certificate.

You need to be currently registered and qualified as a NZ teacher and be able to build strong relationships with staff and students.

CUP teacher – Teacher of Academic Reading and Writing

Part time, fixed term from February to June 2020

0.5 fixed term position  (Feb -June) Registered teacher of academic reading and writing required for pre-tertiary course . The course runs 9.00am-4.00pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.
