Diversity Services Community Programmes Co-ordinator

Hagley College is looking for a Diversity Services Community Programme Co-ordinator for 10 hours per week, fixed term for 6 months, starting as soon as possible.

Applicant must speak one or more of the following languages:

  • Farsi
  • Dari
  • Tigrinya
  • Somali
  • Arabic
  • Bhutanese

Strong communication skills in English (written and oral), with experience in running community programmes and projects.

Experience working and engaging with refugee and migrant background communities.

Applicants must have a current NZ drivers Licence and good IT skills.

Event/project management experience an advantage.

Examination Centre Manager

We are seeking an Examination Centre Manager for Hagley Community College to run the NCEA and NZ Scholarship examinations in 2021.

The smooth and successful running of an exam centre is important for all students participating in these examinations.

If successful, you will be required to complete an online training programme and to attend a one-day NZQA training session in August, before completing several administrative tasks to plan and prepare for the exams between August and October.

A high level of organisational skills with great attention to detail, strength in following processes precisely, confidence leading people of all ages, proficiency in using a computer and learning to use new computer programmes are essential qualities for this role. You must be available to work for the entire exam period – Monday 8 November to Thursday 2 December 2021.
