Hagley's Catch Up College enables students to get the credits they need to step into tertiary study in multiple ways...
For students requiring 6-8 credits from internal assessments we have a Catch Up College January Intensive which offers face-to-face learning with the opportunity to complete required credits in time for a semester 1 start in tertiary studies.
This summer we are offering standards in the subject areas of:
- Te Reo Māori
- English
- Maths
- Media Studies
- Classical Studies
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Earth and Space Science
- Home Economics
- Music
- Visual Arts: Design, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture
as well as standards that count towards UE literacy, and the literacy and numeracy co-requisites.
The enrolment form will be available on this page from Tuesday, 13th January. Interviews will take place from Wednesday, 14th January, when NCEA results are released, with teaching beginning from Thursday, 15th January, depending on subjects. For students who require more than 8 credits, we are able to offer enrolments in our Senior College with individualised programmes, with options of part-time study either for the full year or aiming for semester two tertiary course entry. Hagley Senior College – Hagley College
