Venue Hire

Te Puna Wai O Waipapa – Hagley College has a range of excellent facilities available for one-off or repeat hire purposes out of normal college hours. If you are interested in a facility that is not listed below please fill in the “Enquiry – Te Puna Wai o Waipapa/Hagley College facilities hire” form and fill in your requirements in the ‘Other’ field for question 6.

We will try our best to accommodate your request, however, we cannot guarantee your requested days and times will be available.

Auripo Auditorium

Auripo Multipupose Space

Auditorium The Auditorium is a state-of-the-art performance and presentation resource in our new Auripo Building. The space can sit up to approximately 220 people (depending on the usage) and has advanced audio-visual capabilities for large audiences, a large stage area for performances and presenters as well as a wide array of theatre lighting and curtains for productions.

Gymnasiums The College have 2 large gymnasiums for hire. These are ideal for many sports and activities (basketball, netball, 5-a-side football etc). Long-term repeat hires for clubs and organisations are very welcome.

Café

The College Café is a resource that can sit approximately 90 people. The space has excellent audio-visual capabilities. The café has an annex (see below) that can seat a further 40 people for breakout sessions or for serving food and drinks.

Café Annex

The Te Puna Wai O Waipapa Café Annexe is a Resource that can sit 30-40 people. It has 2 large monitors for display capabilities and can be hired by itself or alongside the main Café (see above)

Classrooms and meeting rooms

The College has a wide range of classrooms and meeting rooms that can be hired. These rooms have a range of seating capacity from small groups eg 4-6 people to 40 people. All rooms have visual display capabilities (large monitors or projectors) via your laptops.

Audio-Visual and Internet services (Put at bottom)

The College can provide Internet access for hirers and (depending on the hire date/time) audio-visual support services. Costs for these services can be discussed once a room hire enquiry is made.
