Enrolments for 2024
Enrolments for our After3 (evening programmes) open online on Sunday, 1 October from midday.
Enrolment forms are also available in the Enrolment Centre from 9am, Monday, 2 October if you are unable to complete the enrolment form online.
Hagley After3 courses are year-long programs running once a week during term time for the school year, Monday to Thursday and Saturday, from early February to late November.
Most classes start at 6pm, with the exception of: Design in Glass, Metal & Plastic (Sat 10am), French Beginners (7pm), French Post-Beginners (5:30pm), French Intermediate (5:30pm), German Beginners (5:45pm), German Post-Beginners (7pm), Photography and Photoshop (6:30pm), all Spanish (5:45pm), all Woodwork (5pm), Jazz (confirmed after audition) and Writers Institute (confirmed after interview).
Our After 3 evening classes build the skills and understandings needed to transition successfully into Senior College NCEA programmes, vocational pathways, or in some cases tertiary level programmes. Over 750 students each year make the decision to study in After 3. We look forward to you making your own success story with us in 2024.

Enrolment Fees apply to adult students only:
Adult Students (19 and born on or before 1/1/2005)
$100 enrolment fee for one After 3 class
$160 fee for two classes.
$220 fee for three or more classes.
The enrolment fee must be paid at the time of enrolment to secure your place in the class.

Materials Fees (Apply for all students)
Materials fees are applicable in some After 3 courses, in addition to the enrolment fee. Please see individual courses for details. These must be payed at the time of enrolment. If you are unable to make the payment in full, please contact us to arrange a payment plan.
You can pay by cash, Eftpos, Visa/Mastercard or via internet banking.
Eligibility
You are eligible to enrol in After 3 if:
- You are a NZ citizen or permanent resident aged 16 and over
- You are a Australian citizen
- You are not currently enrolled in secondary/correspondence school
You must present proof of identity Australian or New Zealand passport or NZ birth certificate. Students born outside of NZ must bring their passport with proof of residency/citizenship when applying.
You can only be enrolled for a maximum of 2 years in one particular course with the exception of language courses being 4 years.
