Year 10 Ballot Application 25

After completing an analysis based on current numbers of this year’s students in Year 9 and using this information to project our numbers for 2025, we have identified 10 places in Year 10 for 2025. To apply for a place on the Ballot please read all the information below.

Please note: the closing date for Ballot Applications is Friday 1 November 2024.

Every student is required to attend an interview as part of the enrolment process. You will be contacted regarding this appointment after the closing date if successful.

Te Puna Wai o Waipapa – Hagley College does not have a zone, as we are a Designated Character school.

As required under our Designated Character Enrolment Scheme, the Board has determined that the following full time equivalent student places are available for students in 2025:
• Year 9 – 150 maximum roll
• Year 10 – 150 maximum roll [including re-enrolling students from 2024]
• Year 11 – 150 maximum roll [including re-enrolling students from 2024]
• Years 9-11 Targeted Learning 17 maximum roll [including re-enrolling students from 2024]

• Years 12-14 – 950 maximum roll [including re-enrolling students from 2024]

As part of our process, we will also contact the current school.

Please ensure the following are included in your application:

NZ or Australian passport, or NZ birth certificate or citizen certificate or an overseas passport, including current dependent student visa.
Current school report including attendance.
A statement supporting the application written by another person – this could be from a sports coach, family friend, teacher of church leader.
