School Sport Term 1 2022

Due to the current Covid Omicron outbreak and Aotearoa being in the Covid Protection Framework Red setting for an unknown period of time, Te Puna Wai O Waipapa has made the difficult decision to not offer external sport for term 1.

We are, however, offering the opportunity to play sport internally at Hagley College in a variety of activities. Some will be offered once, while others will continue for the term. This is offered to all students regardless of age.

There is an Expression of Interest form to fill out and return to the Enrolment Center and this will be used to gauge if we have enough students to run an event.

NOTE: Internal School Sport has different guidelines than School curriculum activities. As a result, Archery will be the only sport that requires students to wear masks while participating and all activities will have a maximum of 25 students per venue.

If you have ideas on what we could also run, write in the blank boxes on the Expression of Interest.

If interested, forms can be picked up from the Enrolment Center, PE Office, Gym 2 Foyer and Sports Office.

Forms need to be in asap as we’re starting next week.
