English Language Learning

ELL (ESOL) provides opportunities for students to develop their language learning skills in a range of contexts related to living, studying and working in New Zealand.

These include study and key life skills such as reading information and using a computer. Teaching and learning focuses on building skills and knowledge in oral, visual and written language. English equips students with skills, knowledge and understandings to maintain and develop their personal well-being both now and in the future, as well as prepare them for future academic and vocational opportunities.

ELL Subjects are as follows:

English for Academic Purposes
  • English for Living in New Zealand
  • 
Preparation for IELTS Workplace/Academic
