A full-time one or two year course for students 18 years and over.
An introduction to acting, voice, dance, stage direction, performance
studies, world theatre movement and playwriting as it would be undertaken
in a professional training course. Opportunities to work in performance and production tasks on six major plays, Theatre in Education, dance performances, contract work and student written/directed performances.

Performance skills in acting, dance, voice, script writing.
Performances in conventional theatre, Theatre in Education,
role/workshop, historical theatre.
Development of own work, e.g. script writing, dance film/tv,
choreography and stage direction.
A vocational aspect of the
theatre industry.

Pre-professional training which prepares
students for auditions for Toi Whakaari
(NZ Drama School). UNITEC professional
training in acting, directing/writing.
