The Hagley English Language Centre welcomes students from many countries and is proud of its multi-cultural character. The College has a well-developed support system to ensure all students are well looked after and enjoy their
time at Hagley.
The Hagley English Language Centre provides both fulltime and part time English language classes. The full-time High School Preparation course is
for student’s aged 13-18 years old who are newly arrived in New Zealand.
Adult students who need to improve their communication skills for tertiary
studies or job opportunities can also enroll in ESOL courses, both full and
part-time.
Testing will establish the appropriate course for students to enter.
