Hagley Dance Company – 13HDC
NCEA Level 3

A full-time one year course for students wishing to extend dance
training and prepare for tertiary study. There will be several opportunities
to perform including solo shows, a major season and a schools tour.
Prepares students for auditions into NZ School of Dance and UNITEC
School of Dance.

Core Subjects
Contemporary dance, ballet choreography
and repertoire: production and performance.

Module Subjects
Yoga, dance, improvisation, partnering,
jazz/funk, anatomy, physical theatre
and dance studies, pilates, dance
and film/multimedia.

Credits: 16 Internal, 4 External.
Entry Requirements:
Prior experience
and audition.
Materials Fee:
$825.00 plus
College Fee.
