HAGLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE - Tertiary Foundation Study Programmes

Achieve University Entrance or a
Level 2 NCEA Certificate in a Full-Time
Media Programme.

Students can choose to enrol in either the Year 12 or Year 13 programme, or select a range of multi-level courses depending upon ability and interest.

For a full-time Xtreme Media programme, students will select four
or five courses from the following list:

Print and Radio Journalism 12JOU [Level 2] /13JOU [Level 3]
Film Production Skills 13FPS [Level 3]
Film Independent Project 13FIP [Level 3]
Film and TV Studies 12FTV [Level 2]
Film and TV Acting 12FTA [Level 2]
English with a Media Aspect 12ENM [Level 2]/13ENM [Level 3]

Entry Requirements: By interview or
16 credits in Level 2 English (including
at least two writing standards) for
Level 3 programme; 16 Level 1 English
credits for Level 2 programme.

individual programme.
Students interested in one or more
Media subjects are recommended to
take English with a Media Aspect.
Students can also select just one course
so as to fit in with other departments and programmes.
