Courses in this learning area are all about intervention by design: the use of practical and intellectual resources to develop products that address needs and realise opportunities. Adaptation and innovation are at the heart of practical design courses. Quality outcomes result from practices that are informed, critical, and creative. Each of these courses makes enterprising use of their own particular knowledge and skills.
