Programmes
A range of services exists for students who require extra support with their learning. Specific tutoring in reading, writing and spelling is provided by
a team of literacy support teachers with further assistance being available through a variety of computer assisted learning programmes. As well as
literacy support, the computer assisted learning also assists in providing extension and maintenance activities in mathematics.
Literacy Enhancement Classes
Students with difficulties in reading and writing are able to gain further
help through our literacy enhancement programme. This programme
aims to accelerate literacy progress over a two-year period by focusing
on vocabulary, reading and writing strategies.
