Celebrating Success

Student success is celebrated through the annual Junior College Graduation ceremony where students are individually recognised for
their achievements. The Year 9 Dux award and the Year 10 Dux award recognise the top performing students at each year level.

Year 9 Certificate of Achievement

Year 9 students who achieve at least 60% in their overall credits by the end of the year are awarded a 'Certificate of Achievement’. This indicates that they have the necessary skills to successfully engage with learning
at the Year 10 level.

Year 10 Diploma of Learning

Students must achieve at least 60%
overall in their credits by the end of
Year 10 to graduate from the Junior
College with a 'Diploma of Learning’.
The Diploma of Learning’ is recognition
if or the student having attained the
necessary skills to be a successful
learner in Year 11.

Distinction

It is important to recognise and acknowledge excellence. For this
reason, the grade of ‘Distinction’, has been included in the awarding
of the 'Certificate of Achievement’ and the ‘Diploma of Learning’.
Students who have an overall credit total of 80% or more are
awarded their Certificate of Diploma with ‘Distinction’.
